Philippa has a special interest in women’s health and medical education. She is the senior trainer in the practice and a GP tutor for medical students.  She also supervises both trainees and new trainers on the York GP training scheme.

She is an appraiser and mentor for other GPs for North Yorkshire & York Primary Care Trust.

Her interests include golf, tennis and keeping fit.
